Saïd Mouline is Emeritus Professor of Architecture at the Ecole Nationale d’architecture in Rabat, Morocco and was a member of the Holcim Foundation Awards 2005 jury for Middle East & Africa.

He is the former general architect for the Moroccan Ministry of Housing. He was the director of the National School of Architecture and established and led the Directorate of Architecture in the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, Environment & Housing (1998-2006).

He holds a Diploma of Architecture, Master of Sociology, and PhD in Linguistics from Ecole d’Architecture de Rennes, Université Paris X, Université de Haute-Bretagne.

He is a laureate of the Getty Grant Program, and a member of the Scientific Commission for the Establishment of the Report of the Fiftieth Anniversary of Human Development.

He has been a consultant for UNESCO and a member of the jury of the Aga Khan Prize for Architecture.
