Based in Zurich, Switzerland, the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction was formed in 2003 under Swiss Civil Law and is under the supervision of the Federal Department of Home Affairs. The Holcim Foundation is a member of SwissFoundations, the association of Swiss grant-making foundations. The Foundation, an independent legal entity, is supported by Holcim.
