Carme Pinós founded her own studio in 1991 after winning international recognition for her work with Enric Miralles. Since then, Carme Pinós combines working as an architect with teaching.

She has been guest professor at several higher education institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, the Università Iuav di Venezia (IUAV) in Venice, the University of Illinois Chicago, the University of Columbia in New York, l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD), among others.

Her most significant recent work includes the design of the MPavilion 2018 in Melbourne, the CaixaForum Cultural and Exhibition Centre in Zaragoza, Spain, the Massana School of Arts, the Departments Building of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Cube Towers in Guadalajara, Mexico.

She was a Member of the Academic Body at the Norman Foster Foundation - Re-materializing Housing Workshop, supported by the Holcim Foundation and held in Madrid (November 2021).
