Claudia Eugenin is a graduate of civil engineering in construction at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a master’s degree in engineering sciences from the same institution.

During her undergraduate studies, she undertook an interdisciplinary major in engineering and architecture. Her research focuses on improving the sustainability and robustness of concrete 3D printing, aiming to later apply this construction method to social housing in Chile.

To further complement her studies, she has worked with various Chilean NGOs to provide housing and support, addressing the country’s housing crisis. Eugenin also completed an internship at the Holcim Innovation Centre (LCR) in Lyon, France, where she worked on a digital design and fabrication project.

Currently, she works as a researcher for a government-funded project in Chile developing 3D-printed social housing solutions and for another project that converts mine tailings into construction materials.
