He was a Holcim representative at the 6th Holcim Forum 2019 on “Re-materializing Construction” held in Cairo. 

Driven by a strong sense of purpose to decarbonize building at scale, he leads Holcim’s commitment to deliver superior performance and value for all stakeholders.

Miljan Gutovic drove decarbonization across Holcim in his Operational Excellence role: leading on renewable and green energy use, expanding green formulation, accelerating green mobility, and deploying next-generation technologies such as carbon capture, utilization and storage. He is a Member of Holcim’s Steering Committee of the Global Cement & Concrete Association and previously worked for specialty chemical company Sika in various management roles.

He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and PhD in Material Sciences Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia.
