Yvette Vašourková is also Founder of the Centre for Central European Architecture (CCEA) an alternative space for further education and research in architecture; and also teaches a first-year course at the Czech Technical University. She is also a member of the editorial board of Era 21 magazine.

She studied architecture and urban planning at the Czech Technical University, and the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
